This is a simple story of how one sleepless night led to me making a song. It started with a guitar riff that I chopped up and rearranged. The guitar riff that you hear in the song, it’s not what I played to begin with. I find messing around with guitar pieces really interesting. I placed the reworked guitar part on top of the original guitar part. Towards the end, I decided not to opt for an electronica drop. I used a garage-y, trashy rock beat to close it out and I was happy with that too. It was a nice way to close the song. Most of the melodies start out on the guitar. The guitar is really essential to me.
