This song is about me exploring other aspects of happiness. This track kills it live because it’s nice and heavy. This is probably the only song where I use distorted guitar. I usually like clean tones more but this song called for distortion. It’s funny because I used to play a lot of distorted guitar on my old Ibanez JS-1000 and I loved it because it was a Joe Satriani guitar. I played tons of shred guitar from the ages of 18 to 21 and played all of Joe Sat’s stuff. Eventually, I got my 1952 Telecaster (re-issue) and the clean tones sounded very good on it and I hardly use distortion on it.
